Homework: The Guardian of the Galaxy.

The summary of the Guardian of the Galaxy is : A group of space criminals must work together to stop the fanatical villain Ronan the Accuser from destroying the galaxy.

It was released in summer 2014 worldwide in most if not all cinemas. The director is James Gunn and produced by Marvel and Walt Disney. Films also produced by these companies include : Captain America 1/2 , Avengers and Avengers 2 )2015) and more.
The budget was $170,000,000 (estimated) with the opening week creating $94,320,883 (USA) (1 August 2014). The film is run for 122 minutes and is scheduled to have a follow up of Guardian of the Galaxy 2. This movie is 12+ allowing the movie to target teenagers to adults as this film does involve violence which may not necessarily be suitable to younger audience. The genre of this film  is described :Action , Adventure, Sci-Fi.


The cast of the film includes- Chris Pratt , Zoe Saladana , Dave Batista , Vin Diesel , Lee Pace , Karen Gillan , Benicio Del Toro ,Michael Rooker , Glenn Close and Josh Brolin .

The technology that has been made is majorly green screen to allow scenarios to be formed easily and provide ll the visuals. This allows it to be available in all format with a parallel soundtrack to the movie.

Due to the worldwide provide the need for puplic awarness this is commonly done by going on large talk shows which are know to have large number of viewers:
In this video the actors emphasis the high budget 1,500$ this proves to the audience that they are very tight on schedule. Also, because the schedule by wasting any sort of time they are providing the editors to have less time which is where everything in the end is put together.
In this interview we also learn that some actors (Vin and Bradley) have not actually met each other before as the technoloogy element of the actors could not allow them to meet. This highlight how much technology and money is neede to create such a blockbuster.

The promotion of the actors talking on large shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live allows older audience to create intrest in this ,as the story is majorly focused on children due to the interview being played later at night. The reason for which this blockbuster is target so majorly on kids is because of the idea of super hearos and saving the world.

Merchandise 
This shows merch for both the children to teenagers to adults. By having a large number of merchanise it incourages for people who have not seen it before to go see it. This continues to allow the 'fanbase' to grow for the next following movie.
 
 This is an excellent example of a blockbuster in the film industry.
