  • Here is the interview with the director of the film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qv4Ys-KfaSo In this interview he expresses his feeling on his views on the film as he didn't think that it seemed like the "best idea for a marvel movie" and when asked to direct the movie, he wished the others good luck. However, he said that there was "something about it" that he started to see "visually" how the film would 'come together' and he had this straight forward vision if this film being very successful.  He expressed many of his feelings that the concept of the film was very hard to put together but later on he saw that this "big brash colourful but still gritty and emotional" film would actually work and now since its been released, its been a huge success. He describes the movie of being like a "movie from the past" the movies where it made people feel "the way that they feel" and that the most effective thing in the movie to to "take turns when the audience least expects it too" whether that would "through music, happening or through the scene", the twists and turns in this movie is what makes Guardians of the Galaxy very original.
