The Guardians of the Galaxy!!!

The film is a synergy and was produced by Marvel studios and Walt disney studio motion pictures. 

The movie had a large budget and was therefore able to market it to the mass media easily. The budget was $170 million. It practically meant that they had the best opportunities to market the film.

The movie starred Chris pratt in the leading role, with other notable actors such as Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldana and Dave Baptista. These actors are A listers and highlight the fact that the film had a large budget.

The film was made using a large range of technologies from simple things such as cameras to large and expensive technologies such as green screens.

Comic book
It was marketed by Marvel through the use of things such as consumer products - this consisted of things such as cosmetics to video games. They also created merchandise for the film for example t-shirts and fleece jackets. They also used the television and the internet to their advantage by making things such as their 1 hour sneak peak and two trailers. Lastly they sent their film to different cinemas around the world.

The production of the film was a synergy between two main companies being Marvel and Walt disney. They also synergised with iOS 8, Android and Windows to release their RPG game about the movie.

The film was released on the 21st of July, 2014 in Dolby theatre and was officially released worldwide on August the 1st 2014. The film came out a while ago and is still being showcased in some cinemas including Vue cinema in Westfield.

It is available as a movie online and in movie theatres and will be available as a DVD on December the 9th 2014. 

The target audience are predominantly teenagers from the age of 12 years and above. The target are mainly young people, however it doesn't exclude those that may be older.
